1. General objectives of the shooting range

2. General regulations
2.1. The shooting range may be only used by:
-
Individuals possessing their own firearms with a valid gun permit
-
Members of the Magnum sports club
-
Members and certified range officers from other shooting clubs or sections
-
Adults with a valid identification document
-
Minors in the presence of their parents or legal guardians, or with their written consent
-
Organized shooting groups with their own certified range officer, provide that they submit a name list of participants. This list must include data in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of March 15, 2000, Chapter 1, Point 1.3 (Journal of Laws No. 18, item 234)
2.2. Club firearms may be rented only and exclusively for learning or improving shooting skills only within the Magnum shooting range and under the following conditions:

The shooter or range officer must present valid identification

The firearm is being issued after basic safety rules and shooting fundamentials training
-
The exact type of firearm is being issued depending on the shooter’s skill level
-
The club reserves the right to refuse issuing a firearm without stating a reason
3. Safety regulations
3.1. The following is prohibited on the shooting range:
-
Entering shooting stations or handling any firearms by accompanying people
-
Providing firearms to unauthorized individuals
-
Leaving firearms unattended
-
Touching or using others firearms without their owner's own permission
-
Consuming alcohol or taking drugs, or being under the influence of such substances in the shooting range area
3.2. Firearm handling:
-
Firearms must be transported unloaded, secured, and stored in a holster, case, firearm box, or with a safety flag in it
-
Firearms may only be removed from holster/bag/etc/ at designated shooting or training station, and only with the permission or direct instruction from the the range officer
-
All firearm handling must be done with the barrel pointed toward the backstop, target, or other objects designated as range targets
-
Shooting is only permitted on the direct command of the range officer
-
Individual training without a command is allowed only with the range officer’s consent
-
All firearm malfunctions or misfires must be immediately reported to the range officer
-
Completion of shooting must be reported to the range officer
-
After shooting, firearms must be unloaded, inspected, and secured under supervision of range officer
-
Leaving firearms unattended is strictly prohibited
-
It is forbidden to shoot at any targets other than designated range targets, or to aim at people or animals
4. Conduct rules for people on the shooting range:

All shooting range users must strictly follow the instructions of the range officer
-
It is prohibited to step in front of the shooting station without the range officer’s permission
-
Except for persons with disabilities, users must follow proper shooting posture regulations
-
Upon hearing the command "STOP" from the range officer or any other person, shooters must immediately cease fire and unload their firearms
-
Animals are allowed on the range only in exceptional cases. They must be leashed and under constant supervision
-
Mutual respect is mandatory on the premises
-
Individuals violating the shooting range rules will be immediately removed from the facility
5. Responsibilities of shooting range users:

Familiarize with and strictly follow the Shooting Range Rules and Safety Regulations

Complete the required information in the Shooting Range Entry Form
-
Obey all commands and instructions from the range officer
-
Aim and fire firearms in a manner that ensures the safety of others and protects equipment
-
Use eye and hearing protection
-
Eye protection is mandatory when shooting at metal targets, including for observers
-
Return any rented club firearms after use
-
Return any unused ammunition if using club firearms
6. Responsibilities of the Range Officer

Assign a shooting station to each user and designate a safe area for accompanying individuals
-
Provide a safety and firearm handling briefing, as well as shooting instruction
-
Supervise the shooting session
-
Inspect firearms
-
Ensure the safety of all users and accompanying individuals
7. Final Provisions
-
Entering the shooting range without the range officer’s permission is prohibited
-
Any person who may pose a danger to themselves or others will not be permitted to shoot
-
Shooters are liable for any material damage they cause
-
The person responsible for causing an accident will bear criminal liability
-
Shooters are reminded that all provisions of the Act of May 21, 1999 on Firearms and Ammunition (Journal of Laws No. 53, item 549), as well as all current regulations and executive orders issued under the Act, apply on the shooting range
-
Attachments to these regulations include extended safety rules for firearm handling and behavior on the shooting range
